    Swiss financial regulation

easyReg can assist financial institutions (banks or institutions as defined by the FinIA) either by means of the regTech e-Reg solution or by means of traditional advisory services.

easyReg can answer day-to-day questions, review or draft policies, design processes required by regulation or participate in implementation projects on topics such as the Financial Services Act (FinSA) and the Financial Market Infrastructure Act (FMIA). We have extensive experience of implementing the Ordinance on Capital Adequacy (CAO) and the Ordinance on Liquidity (Oliq in French), as well as the various FINMA circulars applicable to banks.

    Risk management

Risk management is not only an essential requirement for demonstrating irreproachable business conduct on the basis of the applicable acts, ordinances and FINMA circulars, but also a key activity for protecting each institution and creating value in its business activities.

We have experience in supporting our clients through the various stages of the risk management process (identification, measurement, mitigation, monitoring and reporting) and adapting to specific circumstances.

We cover both financial and non-financial risks. We assist our clients both in developing a risk management concept (overall concept, risk policy, risk appetite, implementation of FINMA circuler17/01) and in dealing with individual risks (operational risk and FINMA Circulars 08/21 and 23/01, liquidity risk in accordance with the requirements of LiqO and FINMA Circular 15/02, interest-rate risk in accordance with FINMA 19/02, credit risk, …). We also have experience in stress testing and capital requirements as per FINMA Circular 11/02 and in the management of outsourcing risk as per FINMA Circular 18/03.

    Regulatory ratios

Compliance with regulatory ratios at all times is an important aspect of irreproachable business conduct for a Swiss bank. Calculating ratios such as capital, LCR, leverage ratio, NSFR and large exposures can sometimes be difficult because of the many rules to be applied.

The possible optimisations are not always easy to understand. Furthermore, in addition to the applicable ordinances and circulars, it may be necessary to refer to additional documents such as explanatory reports, Basel Committee documents or SNB notes. easyReg is familiar with these issues and can answer your questions, review calculations or statistics or assist you with projects.
